🎄Christmas Pickle-tini w/Cukes & Dill Shrub🎄

My family still celebrates hunting for the 🥒 hidden amongst the pine needles in our Christmas tree every year! The pickle is the last ornament to be hung and the first kid to find the pickle was given a special 🎁. It was usually a little gift bag of candy.  

I introduced this family tradition to my husband, who thought I was crazy when on our first Christmas morning together, I challenged him to find the PICKLE 🥒!  My little pickle is only about an inch long and our tree is about 9 feet tall....challenge accepted! 45 minutes later, he found it!  I wanted to share this fun holiday tradition with a twist! RECIPE

Servings: 1 

  • 1 oz Urban Farmhouse Cucumber & Dill Shrub🥒
  • 2 oz Grey Goose Vodka
  • Twist of orange peel
  • Slice of fresh cucumber 
  • Garnish with a half RED sugar-coated gherkin or a RED sugar-coated Pearl Onion 
  • Glass rimmed in green sugar

Directions:
Rim the glass with red or green colored sugar. Add Urban Farmhouse's Cucumber & Dill Shrub, Grey Goose vodka, and a twist of orange peel to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Stir deliberately and strain into a chilled martini cocktail glass rimmed with green sugar. Garnish with a half RED sugar-coated gherkin or a RED sugar-coated Pearl Onion. Adding fresh cucumber really ties the drink together!
