They are made by infusing ORGANIC Apple Cider Vinegar with ORGANIC Fruits, Berries, Veggies and Herbs. No Sugar, No Honey, No Salt, No Water & No Dyes are added, allowing you to adjust the natural sweetness to your palate. 
All The Urban Farmhouse Co Shrubs use only organic raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar, as the base ingredient. Then, based on personal taste desired, organic plant-based ingredients such as basil, cilantro, horseradish, ginger, rosemary, garlic & onion, jalapeno, serrano & cayenne are added.

A LITTLE HISTORY: Shrubs have been around since the middle of the 1600's. In Colonial America, apple cider vinegar was used to preserve fruits and vegetables long after their season had ended. Shrubs were in use in the US until about 1915. During this time, ice boxes and refrigeration was becoming more prevalent in the American home and the use of vinegar preservation faded. Now, we use SHRUBS to flavor plain to sparkling waters, add pizazz to cocktails, make homemade salad dressings and as marinades on meat and vegetables.
